Saudi Tadawul Group and Shatlat Sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to Promote Environmental Awareness and Tree Planting Initiatives
Riyadh, 20 February 2024: Saudi Tadawul Group and Shatlat have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote environmental awareness and tree planting initiatives within the Kingdom. This collaborative effort aims to address key environmental challenges and promote sustainable practices in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The MoU was signed at the third edition of the Saudi Capital Market Forum, in Riyadh.
Key Highlights of the MoU:
Environmental Awareness: Saudi Tadawul Group and Shatlat will collaborate to raise awareness of the importance of the environment and expanding green areas through targeted media campaigns.
Tree Planting Initiatives: . Saudi Tadawul Group will plant 300 trees for each occurrence of the Saudi Capital Market Forum, along with 50 trees for every company listing on the main market, and 10 trees for each company listing on Nomu-Parallel market, among other initiatives in Riyadh to enhance local ecosystem. Meanwhile, Shatlat will oversee the maintenance, irrigation, and provision of seeds.
Data Exchange: Shatlat and Saudi Tadawul Group will exchange data and information to enhance environmental sustainability.
Joint Initiatives: The entities will jointly implement initiatives to enhance environmental conservation efforts throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This agreement reflects the ongoing commitment of Saudi Tadawul Group and Shatlat to collaborate in advancing environmental sustainability in the Kingdom.
